Alternative
Dispute Resolution |
|
Over the last several years, Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR")
has taken and continues to take on an expanding role in resolving disputes
in the corporate, judicial and government sectors.
|
ADR reduces the number of
disputes that result in litigation, costs are lower, time is saved and
privacy is maintained. In addition, use of ADR to resolve a dispute may
help to preserve a relationship that might otherwise be harmed or
destroyed by a more adversarial process.
|
Immediate Solutions is a
full service ADR firm offering the following:
|
- Mediation. A voluntary,
non-binding procedure in which parties attempt to resolve a dispute
with the help of a mediator.
- Arbitration. The submission of a
dispute to a neutral third party selected by the parties to make a
binding decision.
- Neutral Evaluation. The review of
evidence and positions of parties involved in litigation by an
experienced professional who assesses the relative strengths,
weaknesses and value of the case.
- Fact-Finding. An investigation of
a dispute or matter by an impartial third person who thoroughly
examines the issues and determines the relevant facts.
- Mini Trials. An abbreviated trial
in which the process is managed by a mediator.
- Private Trial. A trial which
mirrors traditional litigation in which a privately retained judge
presides.
- ADR Program Design and
Implementation. A review and analysis of a client's ADR needs and
the development of an appropriate ADR program and implementation plan.
- Training and Education.
Comprehensive training and education of attorneys, judges, corporate
and/or government personnel in the effective use of and participation
